Telangana Government to Ensure Full Utilisation of SC/ST Sub-Plan Funds: Bhatti Vikramarka

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday, October 19, said the state government is committed to ensuring the full utilisation of funds allocated under the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Sub-Plan without delays.

During a review meeting, Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials to ensure that the allocated funds are used effectively for the welfare and development of SC and ST communities across Telangana.

“The expenditures must be in line with the allocations. Special attention should be paid, and there should be no lag,” he said.

The Deputy Chief Minister instructed senior officials to conduct regular review meetings to monitor the progress of fund utilisation. He also directed them to maintain updated records of the funds allocated, expenditure incurred and the remaining balances.

Bhatti Vikramarka emphasised the need for a comprehensive financial plan to ensure that the state’s financial management remains aligned with long-term development goals.

The government aims to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and ensure that budgetary allocations intended for SC and ST welfare translate into timely and effective implementation of development programmes.

He stressed that officials must pay special attention to expenditure tracking and avoid delays in utilising the funds.
